Welcome to SV Jewellers: A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Trust
Our story begins with a dynamic young boy named Shanmuga Achari, a talented goldsmith residing in the village of Vallam near Panruti. His expertise in crafting exquisite 6-stone and 8-stone stud rings attracted
customers who eagerly sought his unique creations. Shanmuga Achari, a visionary and master of his craft, passed on his skills to his son, Mr. P.S. Vairakannu.
In 1968, seeking a better future, Mr. P.S. Vairakannu relocated from the small village to Panruti, where he established a retail gold jewellry business. With each passing year, the brand, known as “SV,” gained a reputation for excellence, earning the distinction of being the first to obtain a gold retailing license in 1970.
Under the guidance of Mr. Vairakannu, his son Mr. S.V. Arul learned the jewellry business, joining the family lineage of passionate jewellers.With their collective experience and dedication, the business thrived prompting
a move to a spacious showroom located at No.33 Rajaji Salai,Panruti in 1996. In 2008, a separate floor was designated exclusively for silver articles and jewellry.
SV Jewellers became synonymous with trust, transparent policies, impeccable craftsmanship, integrity, and exceptional service, leading to its prominence in the Cuddalore District jewellry market. Today, SV Jewellers is a renowned brand, carrying the legacy established in 1968.
We specialize in crafting unique and stunning 6-stone, 8-stone, and vintage stud jewells. In celebration of our Golden Jubilee in 2018, we expanded our presence by opening a branch in Neyveli, opposite the Arch gate, under the leadership of our founder, Mr. P.S. Vairakannu, and Managing Director, Mr. S.V. Arul.

With decades of experience, we boast an extensive collection of in-house designs crafted by our skilled design team. Since 1980, we have produced silver anklets under the SV seal. The combination of our unique designs and uncompromising quality sets us apart, allowing us to meet every customer’s individual needs.
In 2021, we proudly renovated our Panruti branch, relocating to a new and inviting space near our old shop. This new location features separate floors dedicated to gold, silver, and an exclusive section showcasing our exquisite diamond collection.
Embracing the spirit of generational continuity, the fourth generation of our family, Shanmuga Nishanth, has also joined the business alongside our founder and Managing Director.
